Fear Not! Stand Still! Watch!

(Exodus 14:13) And Moses said unto the people, Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever. During the first part of 2006, the Lord has been moving into all of our circumstances with solutions that we have not yet seen. And there are many changes going on in the church world today, all preparing us for greater service in the Kingdom. Those changes are sometimes uncomfortable, and they cause us to grow and get out of our comfort zones. But our change is inevitable, even if the enemy is trying to keep the changes from coming. We have the verse that Moses gave to Israel when their change was coming at the same time the enemy was attacking. We can stand on this same verse and know without a doubt that the Lord will vanquish the enemy when we trust the Lord, refuse to fear the enemy (or our circumstances), and rest in His divine purposes and will for our lives. So, today, Fear Not! Stand still! And watch for the salvation of the Lord! If you will do these things, the enemy will be defeated in your life! You will have the desires of your heart – but more than that – you will be fulfilled in His purposes for your life. Fear Not! Stand Still! Now, Watch!

Time For Missions - First Quarter 2006 Report

During the past three months, we have seen great results in our missions ministry, Time for Missions. In January and February 2006, the crusades and medical clinic saw over 1,000 people won to Jesus. Our Peru trip in February produced a harvest of 777 souls. And with the addition of the March crusades in Bolivia, I am so thankful to say that over 2,000 souls have been saved so far this year! This brings the total number of salvations that we have witnessed to over 10,000 in just the past 4 years! Praise God!

We have also seen hundreds of healings and thousands of lives changed as a result of the power of God moving in every kind of circumstance. I know that the Lord is at work today in the lives of people around the world. And let me encourage you: If the Lord will provide healing, miracles, and salvation for people in South America and Africa, He will do these things for us right here in our own back yards. We just need to continue to follow the sowing and reaping principles outlined in the Bible – and believe!

Our schedule continues to stay packed as we are moving through the year. We are ministering locally and internationally now. Our crusades in Bolivia are producing great results and helping to build a model for other ministries to follow when hosting small town crusades. With an average salvation count of 250 per night and a budgeted cost of only $750 per night, these crusades offer a cost-effective way for small ministries and churches to participate in seeding evangelism for others! It’s also proving that larger ministries can use local people and make large impacts over a wide geography; all while spending little for the great results! If you would like to sponsor a crusade for one or two nights, please send your donations for that and 100% will go to provide crusades for those who might not otherwise meet Jesus!

In March, we hosted Pastor Fernando Vargas in our home for 10 days. He and his son, Daniel, stayed with us and we all ministered together, attended church services, prayer meetings, held personal ministry time, shopped, appeared on television 3 times, and enjoyed our time together here in Alabama. This was the first time that Fernando and Daniel had been to the USA, and we wanted them to experience our culture, our worship, and our lives. I don’t think it will be their last visit! They were happy to be here, but more than that, they were happy with the ministry results. If you were in service with us, I pray the Lord ministered to you in a unique and powerful way. Also, if you contributed to Fernando’s ministry, I want to say “thank you” for your obedience. Fernando now has a bank account here locally and we put all of the monies in the bank so he can easily use it with his new debit card in Bolivia. If you wish to contribute to his ministry, you may do so by sending your check to our office, or by contributing on our web site.

Check out our new web site! We have updated the site to give you the news about the ministry that you will want to read and share with others. Go to www.timeformissions.org and look at the new designs, new logos, and all new content. We will continue to update you with our news, events, projects, and schedule as often as required via the web site. Just keep that address! Please Consider Supporting Missions Regularly!

During the last 4 years, I have made a point of not soliciting funds for our missions efforts. Laura and I have used our business to fund our missions activities, but this year, things are changing! Even though we continue to fund much of our travels, we need your help to continue all of the other missions projects that we are working on. We have 9 more crusades to support in 2006 for a budgeted cost of $1500 each. We also need to raise another $6000 for a truck for Pastor Vargas in Bolivia. We will use this truck when we are in Bolivia and traveling all over that country! We are also supporting the work of other ministries in Peru, Bolivia, and parts of Africa. As the funding permits this year, we will also expand our efforts into Chile and Brazil. We will also be attending the Perry Stone Campmeetings in various cities to work in the altars at the conclusion of each service. Then add the NowPray service which we are about to complete. Wow! What a schedule – and we have not touched on the normal business activities that we are involved in! If you can contribute just $20 per month, it would be a great help! With 100 people giving just $20 per month, we can provide a two night crusade and pay the salary of up to 5 local pastors for one month! I am enclosing an envelope (for those receiving this letter by mail) for your convenience. We would appreciate anything that you can do, but please pray and seek the Lord for His counsel on what you should do for missions.

Thank you for partnering with us at Time for Missions. And thanks always for your prayers. Go with us as we make "Time for Missions" at home and around the world!
